The interesting commercials

This week, I will write about theinteresting commercials.The corporation is famous for commertial. Because they make the commertial to make us fun, laugh, and happy. They like pun very much.

This commertial was made to lost misunderstanding.They tell us “It isn’t Syousyuu-ryoku. It’scorrect name is Shousyuu-riki.”By this commersial, lost the misunderstanding and the product became more famous.

 

These commercials made some original charactors. For example, “Kumao Monsieur”. Kumao is the character of insecticide “mushu-da”.


The commercial has pun too. Did you find the pun? The point is Kumao says “syakena baby”. “syakena baby” looks like “shekena baby”. “Shekena baby” means “shake it now baby”. And “shake” means salmons. So it is pun. When I saw the commercial first, I couldn’t understand the interest. But the character’s goods is liked by the people and the character goods sell well.  And it isn’t famous story but the chairman in the character. And he appered this commercial as Kumao Monsieur.

His name is Miguel Guerreiro. He came to Japan from Portugal as a singer. He was kids talent in Portugal. He was born in 1998. So he is 14 years old. It has reason that he was used this commercial. First reason is inpact. He is forigne people for us. And his voice is nice so can gave impact us. But the commercial has unknown story. The commercial is first when after Tunami 3.11. Society has nervousness. So a lot of corporation didn’t make funy commercials. The corporation’s emplyees considered. Because the corporation is famous for unique and funny commercials. But they thought to stop making funny commercial that time. At that time, a lot of letters were send them. The letter were written “Please don’t stop making the work.” “Please make funny commrecials and sustain Japan.” So they made it. The commercial’s back setting is in Lisbon. Lisbon suffered from an earthquake in 1755. Then the town was reborn. The commecial don’t say the story but the commercial was selected as good commercial in Japan in 2012. Then the story became known by people.
 
 And the commercial became seriese. The new one appear 3 people. They are singer. The song was written for Janan people. They tell wishese.

These commertials and songs were made by Kouzi Kage. But he have a character and other name in the company. He sometimes appear as “Toriba Takadano”. It looks like a duck. He use the name as his name in the company. He does many kind of work but I think he is copy writter. He was born in Fukuoka. He educated Waseda univercity. Then he worked in Yukizirushi. When Yukizirushi caused the meat camouflage incident, his notice of apology is famous. He alays has idea which made us surprised. He write blog for tell people ST corporation. And he writes book because he became famouse copy writter. I respect him.

Unique products’ names

I will write about unique products’ names this week. The corporation’s goods were named by the chairman ”Takashi Suzuki”. He always says that “naming work is very important. I can’t leave my work to other people.” He hits on idea when he get up in morning. He says “chairman and president must can do it easily.” I will show you some example.


1.Syousyu-riki


The named from a famous pro wrestler, Syousy-riki. He was very strong those days. Tyousyu-riki won the championship. So the chairman wish the goods be strong goods for them corporation. The name was surprised people because it is like pun. But the impact is good to remind people. The goods hit. The chairman and employees are relieved. But there is a problem. Some people remember the name not as “Syousyu-riki”, as “Syousyu-riki”. The employees and the chairman are shocked. So they made that commercial. The commercial made a lot of people surprise. Because the commercial’s song is “Syousyu-riki, I kike toilet. Syousyu-riki, I like toilet too. For the great toilet, Sousyu-riki”. When from people watched the commercial, they didn’t make mistake the name.

 

2.Dassyu-tan

When he named it, the corporation was worried about how to receive by more young age people. The corporation became the company which 50 percent of a share in an insecticide market in the autumn of 2009. But young age people didn’t use insecticide. The chairman thought that the way things stand, nobody will buy an insecticide! Then the chairman paid attention the scent. In those days, The goods at with scent is popular to young people. The chairman and employees thought if were sold it, would be hit goods. But they didn’t come naming idea. The chairman hit upon a wonderful idea. “kaori musyu-da” it is great! He said. But employees opposed. Because “musyu-” is mean “no scent” in Japanese. The goods is “with scent”. It is full of inconsistencies. But he broke down the opposition. Finally the goods sold as “kaori musyu-da”. The success which sells about 2 million pieces is recorded after the sale in August 2010. When it sell, insecticides are no scent usually. The package is new character “Kaori chan”. It is operation for young age people to like the goods. The package to which an old insecticide show functionality and increase in quantity was almost the case. For example “You can use it one year.”, “very cheap” and “increased 10 percent”. The name and package give the people image that quench and cute. It can make people to image that If you are used the goods, you could be relax. “It is good package marketing” other corporation’s presidents praised him. The package’s colors are red and blue. These color is said “mana-red” and “mana blue”. The package business world people says these color are not good for package. Because it looks like cheap. But the chairman selected the color and success. It is mystery.

I will write about the corporation’s unique president this time. The corporation was Takashi Suzuki for long time. So he is famous more than now president. He retired in 2007. He became a chairman. But these days he became president again. Now the corporation has two presidents. Takashi Suzuki is chair person and Yukimasa Yoneda is president on the paper.

 

I will write about Takashi Suzuki first. Takashi Suzuki sometimes appears on the television. For example he appears on the program which in New year’s day and the corporation’s commercial. He talks about management policies seriously. But he says joke and talks unique story.

He is second generation. He became president when he was 50 years old. He had worked in a life insurance company. He was born in Tokyo. He likes skiing. His motto is a fate, intuition and courage. He is famous as cheek when he is employee. Because he says his opinion. He has a lot of episode. Didn’t you have a question why decide to become president again. He says like this. “In 2007 I retired the president. After employees   invited new goods. When I looked it, I was angry. Because the design was not good. I said to employees to make design again. But they didn’t do it immediately. I thought that I want to president again and prove them. ” He is stern and scary. But he has interesting episode. He appeared the commercial but he didn’t show his face. He is in cartoon character costume which is famous as the corporation’s goods’ character. This story isn’t known by many people in Japan. And he appeared the commercial when changes the corporation’s name. When the time, he shown his dance on television. It was interesting. And he decides name almost goods. His name sense is good and fun. It is unique. I will introduce you “Shoushu-riki”. The goods is most famous goods in the corporation’s goods. It is deodorant. When it was sold, pro wrestler Thoushu-riki was popular in Japan. So he named it “Thousyu-riki.” It has little difference. The name was shown a lot of people by commercial. The name made been surprised and laugh. He had  said a lot of wise saying. For example “If the president is licked by business man, he will stop”, ” It is the president to make the impossible possible.”, The president's back is shown by myself.,” Friends with an officer are not made. Decision becomes impossible.”, “What cannot be decided by 3-minute ,cannot be decided even if it takes 30 year.”,” It is the language which the president not using brains in --a crisis once in 100 years--. A crisis once in 100 years is a chance once in 100 years. It is because a rival does not use brains.” These words is very cool.

He is new president. He was born 1950. He graduated language school in kyusyu. He had worked in other corporation. 2002, He started working as the role supervising in the corporation. The reason why he was recommended is his ability. He is well informed about Dds(data gathering system). He can respond to diversification of the execution business accompanying a capital business tie up and cooperation strengthening with an affiliated company. Moreover, a management reform is strengthened further and it aims at aiming at conversion to high profit structure.

Products I will write about this corporation’s products this week. I will show you some famous goods and introduce it.

●deodorant and aromatics
*shoushu-riki for room
They had sold syosyu-riki from 2000.It is most famous goods in ST corporation’s goods. It has 12 type smells. A lavender, a soap, a herb green, a forest, a grapefruit, a peach, a angel blossom, a rose aroma, a chamomile aroma, a fruity gardening, a aqua citrus for a cigarette, and fragrance free. It is used nano particle powder. So smell spreads expeditiously and simple design. You can adjust small quantity. And you can use it 2 or 3 month. The good’s price is about 350 yen.

*shoushu-pot
They had sold syosyu-pot from 1999. It was introduced in commercial. It is little strange and cute girl’s dance. It remains in the impression in people’s mind. It has 5 types goods. Sweet apple, water lily, orange sunshine, golden kiwi and fairy peach. It is made from good smell jelly. It is bouncy gel. The natural aroma cleans the air in the room. You can use it about 2 month. The good’s price is about 310 yen.

They had sold syosyu-plug from 2001. It is new goods in the deodorant and aromatic goods. When you use it, you have to put a plug. The goods got a strong power because put a plug. The smell and effects spread to reach the every detail corner. The aroma can spread in 16 mats. It can spread the aroma a given quantity. It can find when have to exchange because it is shown by LED light. Electricity charge is just 24 yen in a month if you were used it 24 hours. It is very economic. The goods has 11 types aroma.
